There are three main charter areas in Mexico; Baja California, the Mexican Riviera and Cancun.

Baja California is a peninsula of contradictory and diverse geographical areas; from mountainous regions and pine forests to deserts and unspoiled beaches. The peninsula is bounded by the Gulf of California to the east. The area boasts some of the most interesting environments in the world; the rich marine life including dolphins, sea lions and whales, then the magnificent scenery of unique desert islands, protected coves and quiet beaches, calm blue waters against dramatic cliffs and mountains. This wonderful stretch of sea is characterized by mild weather which provides year-round cruising, easy navigation and protected areas during both winter and summer. Various activities offered to visitors include sailing, snorkeling, diving, fishing, whale watching and much more. Baja California is a magnificent cruising and sailing destination with attractive resorts; Cabo San Lucas, San Jose del Cabo, Loreto, La Paz, Ensenada.

The Mexican Riviera stretches from Mazatlan to Acapulco, an area of rich culture, magnificent scenery, lively towns and quiet fishing villages. Mazatlan is a charming seaside town with long sandy beaches and lagoons, providing a popular retreat for vacationers. Acapulco has a reputation of being the most attractive tourist resort in Mexico, the city that never sleeps. Lively nightlife, restaurants and shops, beautiful natural bay with cliffs and hills with amazing views of splendid beaches are the true magnet for the rich and famous. Of other popular resorts along the coastline we must mention Manzanillo with fine hotels and beaches, Ixtapa, a glamorous resort with many modern facilities, and a picturesque city of Puerto Vallarta.

Cancun's white sand beaches, blue waters, world class hotels, restaurants, bars and shops make it a wonderful tourist destination and a thriving yacht charter location. It is a paradise for various watersport activities; sailing, diving, snorkeling, swimming. Mexico is a year round destination. Coastal resorts are generally hot and humid, while the central area has constant spring temperatures.

Rainfall affects variations in temperatures. Southern Pacific rainfalls occur from June to October; November to May is the best period for visit. Yucatan is characterized by rainfalls throughout the year; the temperatures allow for pleasant vacation all year round. However, Southern Pacific coast and Yucatan are affected by hurricane season from June to October. Temperatures on the Pacific coast of Baja California range from 16 to 24 degrees, with summer temperatures that reach up to 30 degrees. Inland summer temperatures can be 43 degrees. The area from La Paz to Cabo is characterized by hot summers and moderate winters.
