West Mediterranean

The Western Mediterranean is connected to the Atlantic Ocean through the Strait of Gibraltar on the west and includes the area between Spain, France and Italy.

The tourist season in the whole area runs from April to the mid-October. The summer months, (especially July and August) are hot, dry and quite crowded, but still delightful. High season includes a variety of activities, festivals and events, which is more inviting to all yachtsmen. Fall and early spring are pleasant and not too hot, ideal for sailing enthusiasts. Low season has some advantages as well, lower prices and less crowds.
